If you really want to make money from your freelancing work, you need to think about other ways of billing your clients apart from the hours you spend on their work. You can charge a set hourly rate, a fixed price, or even a monthly subscription fee. In addition to this, you can also bill for projects based on a time and materials basis. This means that you can quote a particular amount of time and materials to carry out a certain job, and charge your clients based on these.
A lot of the time, freelancers will use a lot of their time and materials on clients they don’t even know. In this case, you can charge a percentage of the total amount of time and materials you quote.
